ADDMA participated in the "Re-ally tourism" meeting in Athens
ADDMA participated in the meeting of the “Re-ally tourism - the Hellenic and European travel agents’ initiative” that took place in Athens on May 11.
Organized by the Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (HATTA), the event focused on the new trends in post-Covid tourism: from sustainable and responsible tourism practices to strategies for travel agents in the new era of tourism.
“We have traveled a great distance over the last two years - during the pandemic -and we are all very excited for the start of a new tourism season. We have not arrived at this point because the pandemic has ended. We are here because we have learned how to re-create the visitor experience of the past while also ensuring that tourism will be safe, responsible, and more sustainable than in the past. We should all be very proud of this achievement, because it has demanded an enormous amount of hard work,” ADDMA CEO Vagelis Vlachos said in his opening speech.
The event was also attended by state officials and senior executives of Greek and international travel and tourism associations including the European Travel Agents’ and Tour Operators’ Association (ECTAA) and the World Travel Agents Associations Alliance (WTAAA).
