ADDMA to become a Local Government Development Organization

The Athens Development and Destination Management Agency of the City of Athens (ADDMA) is changing its legal form to become a Local Government Development Organization. The change in status will allow ADDMA to create a new technical service.

"This will be an important tool for the maturation of technical projects that will be carried out by the City of Athens throughout the neighborhoods of Athens. The new city administration is undertaking this initiative with the aim of implementing projects without delays while providing supervision at all steps of the process," said the CEO of ADDMA, Ioannis Georgizas.

The new technical service is already filling staff positions in close cooperation with the technical service of the City of Athens and the Deputy Mayor for Infrastructure, Andreas Grammatikoyannis. With the completion of the formal procedures in the coming weeks, the technical service will be ready to begin its work.
