Athens wins two titles at World Travel Awards Europe 2022
The City of Athens has won two prestigious titles at the World Travel Awards Europe 2022.
Athens has been named “Europe's Leading Cultural City Destination 2022” while This is Athens and This is Athens-Convention & Visitors Bureau have received the “Europe's Leading City Tourist Board” title for 2022.
The awards were received by ADDMA CEO Epaminondas Mousios during the WTA Europe Gala Ceremony 2022, that was held in Mallorca, Spain, on October 1, in the presence of senior executives of tourism enterprises and organizations from all over Europe.
Hailed as “the Oscars of the travel industry”, the World Travel Awards, acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry.
