Ioannis Georgizas appointed new CEO of ADDMA

Ioannis Georgizas is the new CEO of the Athens Development and Destination Management Agency (ADDMA).

Mr Georgizas graduated from the department of Physics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology and in Business Administration (MBA). He has worked as a project manager for several public and private IT projects as well as for projects related to sustainable development, energy conservation and circular economy and has gained valuable experience as a project manager of European programs. For more than 15 years, he served as an executive of the Management Organization Unit of the Ministry of Development.

Mr Georgizas has also served as a consultant to the Secretary General of the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece. He is the General Director of “Sustainable City”, a network of cities in Greece and Cyprus.
