The Owl Workshop & Industry Days brings international film and TV professionals to Athens
Cineuropa, the portal dedicated to the European audiovisual sector, has published an in-depth article on The Owl Industry Days, a two-day event recently held in Athens featuring a rich program of presentations, discussions, and panels focused on Greek fiction production.
Held on October 6–7, The Owl Industry Days hosted dozens of B2B meetings between producers, creators, financiers and decision-makers from around the world. The agenda also included pitching sessions, panels, masterclasses, and matchmaking activities that fostered new partnerships and co-production opportunities.
The Industry Days took place alongside the 4th Owl Screenwriting Workshop (October 4–7), an annual event organized by the Athens Film Office of the City of Athens. This year, The Owl welcomed 25 screenwriters from Greece and abroad for an intensive script-development program led by international mentors.
